This is the first time that I've been to a Brazilian restaurant and it was absolutely incredible. The atmosphere was very relaxing and I felt like I was going into the Brazilian culture and the staff embraced it with knowing Brazilian food aspects on the menu. I got to try a Brazilian beer which was a first for me. Pao De Queijo and yucca fries, Tri-tip sandwich and a bobo de Camarao. Everything was mouthwatering job dropping good! We could've asked for a better experience. All the food was so good. If you lived near this place, you are blessed! Hands-down 10 out of 10 highly recommend it!

Very good food and very friendly service is what you'll get here at Brazil By The Bay. I tried the chicken stroganoff and some Brazilian beer. I would pass on the beer, but the stroganoff was amazing! Stop by here when you get hungry after browsing Kobey's.

Love their appetizers. I usually get it delivered. Their line is great. Usually if they are not done right they tend to be dry but not theirs! Delicious!

Amazing find, little Brazilian restaurant and mini super market mom and pop shop. We had a work trip in San Diego and took a lunch break here and was so pleasantly surprised by all the good Brazilian food here. My fiancé is Brazilian and we can never find a nice market near us in OC. We got the picanha sandwich and it was sooo good, we want to eat it again , it's a skirt steak sandwich with onions and cheese in a toasted baguette with fries! Hits the spot completely! We also ordered chicken stroganoff to go and got a bunch of goodies from the mini super market. Looks like a family owned place and the server and store manager was really nice to us! It's also dog friendly as we saw someone bring in a cute pit bull there! Definitely coming back here for the picanha sandwich again and more goodies !! They had frozen pao de quejo and coxinha and all kinds of Brazilian goodies!!

The food was amazing and the server really help us with our choices! We started with a burger and caipirinha! Than we had Garlic Picanha and Feijoada!

We've been here coming for years and typically the food is amazeballs. My favorite dish is the Moqueca which is has stewed fish, shrimp and vegetables sauteed in coconut milk......so appetizing! And of course, what is a visit to a Brazilian restaurant without having Feijoada! It's the national dish of Brazil with simmered pork, beef and black beans with sides of rice, collard greens, farofa (toasted cassava) and oranges slices (it supposedly helps with digestion of Feijoada). It's juicy with such well developed taste. The restaurant is a small venue with colorful personalities and an atmosphere that embraces Brazilian culture. The staff is always cheerful and easy going. The food is typically on point but unfortunately our last two visits were disappointing in terms of the availability and quality of food. We specifically brought our out-of-town guests here to taste the Feijoada but they did not have the dish available, both times. That's odd that their signature dish would not be available? So, as an alternative we tried the grilled tri tip plate. To our dismay it was served over cooked and at room temperature. I'm hoping that those experiences were just simply "off-days". I'll still be back for the Moqueca though! It's beckoning me!

YUM. I don't know too much about Brazilian food so I can't comment on the authenticity of the food etc. But all I can say is that even for those who aren't too familiar with Brazilian food, this place is still AMAZING and it is absolutely worth giving it a shot!! SO glad that a friend introduced me to this place. Lowkey, hole-in-the-wall kind of vibes close to Pechanga Arena. Indoor dining as well as a very lovely outdoor patio for dining outside, and parking lot available. I had the strogonoff which was my first time having strogonoff ever but it blew me away, it was so tasty and I finished it all! I also had the caipriroska, a classic Brazilian cocktail with lime, sugar, and vodka. THIS DRINK IS STRONG. NO JOKE. Even when SHARING the cocktail with my friend (a fully grown adult male for what it's worth) and both of us having what I would consider a respectable alcohol tolerance, we both walked out tipsier than we've ever been from a single cocktail. Dangerous too because it's so sweet you'd never guess it. We were seriously wondering what kind of liquid magic they poured into this thing. Take it as a pro or con depending on how you like your cocktails and what your goals are for the night.
